Stormy Days - Poem by Gentle Kisses
Rain come my way, and stay for a while.
Guard me from the pain, that I’m feeling right now.
My eyes are a streaming, but no one can see.
Because you’re warm moistness is covering me.
I long for my friend, my one hearts true.
My butterfly, my butterfly, I'm speaking of you.
My passion is deep, it flows through my heart.
It has every day, right from the very start.
I see your hearts beauty, your wings spread afar.
Your wisdom does guide me, you are my north star.
I've tried to forget you, though I have not strayed.
My heart does bind me, so you see I have stayed.
I will wait forever, plus one day.
Because I know, our love is here to stay.
You fear my love, is like all the rest.
But take you hand here, lay it upon my chest.
See how you feel, my heart beating true.
My heart beats with love, that’s only for you.
You say that you heart, is guarded right now.
But I will break through, some day, somehow.
You are my true love, my heavenly delight.
I know your heart loves me, you know I am right.
My thoughts you consume, all through the night.
Our future is certain, our future is bright.
Now I might be hidden, out of focus, unclear.
But I feel you thinking, our love is so dear.
My butterfly, my butterfly, don’t you fear.
I am waiting for you, forever right here.
