Laying in my bed on a stormy summer night
My eyelids are slowly relaxing to rest
Just to see light shining through
Popping them open I catch a glympse of the bright whiteness
It's dancing throughout my room like spirited wild horses charging through nature
Hearing pounds of thunder remind me just how powerful our Lord can be
A growl of majesty and his justice
The sounds of rain rushing down pound like a drum
Arousing louder and louder to make sure of everyone to hear
The flashes become quicker and brighter
Taking snapshots of the world unseen
No need to worry but have peace of knowing
The night is full of new adventures if you take the chance to find them
