'Story Of Life' - Poem by Kevin Wang

creating writing painting something
like clouds in the sky
the sunset shimmering in the quiet ocean's slumber
or the nature's beauty

struggling with the new
rebellious with the young
wise with the old
but forever with the life's path on and on

lying awake with the moon's eyes by the sake
wandering around the world as it spins
hasting on the outer
but calm from within

these stories upon life and death
brings out the tears of sorrow yet of happiness
with the four seasons
spring, summer, fall, winter
the beauty of life all within a special self

this thin veil that blocks us away
should be opened like a heart blooming to truth
each day, each second passing by
treasure it, cherish it to the last

journeys to the past, present, future
brings out the best in you
sadly but sometimes bringing the worst out of the best
as each step takes into place with every key upon this piano

let these go
cherish these memories
knowing remembering hopefully til the last
play each second and make it count

close your eyes
sway to this
say what you mean
and don't turn back other than to regret to the last
so crack up a smile or two and bring out the best
cuz this is a present from me to you
and forever shall it last in your very heart
