Story Untold Poem by Mia Valenti

Story Untold

Sitting here all by myself
Thoughts of you
Come crashing through.

Got a message yesterday
Saying you were on your way.
Many years have passed
Since we spoke
For i have become old and gray.

You still see me as that little girl
The one who always told you,
I never felt part of this world.

In was a nun they said
In my past life
Searching for you, for so many years
Just to find out
In today's world you have a wife.

You say you are not happy there
Yet i am not there to see.
For all i can only hope for you
Is that you set yourself free.

You told me this and that
Yet I don't know what you expect me to do.
I want to save you
My hands are tied love
You've got to save yourself too.

What do you look like now.
For i can only hear your sound
I was always here
Yet you were never around.

I pray to God for you
Each day, and ask Him
To watch over you
Unitl our last day.

When? I don't know
Will we still be alive?
Don't leave me here alone.
Don't you think its been too long
Its hard without you to survive.

I had a chance to come back
In this lifetime
Yet each time I do
You were never mine.

I can't fight this feeling alone.
Until then i will remain lost
Without you i never felt home.

So if you find this poem today.
Just remember i am still here.
If not then i guess
You are still far away.

Though i still love you
And want you to know
Without you
I will never let go.

I will wait for you to come
My moon, my star, my sun.
For you since the beginning
Were always the one.

Story untold was about two people who knew one another in the past life and were never able to reach one another. As each lifetime passes they still searching for each other.
