Storybook Of Love Poem by Keenan Harris

Storybook Of Love

You say my love is a flame

One you wouldn't mind burning in

Yet you are as the sun

You blaze with a thousand passions that scorch me to the core

I would gladly turn to ash and be scatter by the wind

only once I know you are fulfilled

You say it's filled with pain and sorrow

Then, please add my own suffering and pain

Longing to once again touch your unmarked skin

My love is the main chapter

Your beauty is its title and cover

All our emotions, lusts, and tears join to create a perfect work of art within the folds

of this...OUR Storybook Of Love
