Strange - Poem by Hasan Adan

ain't it strange when one believes,
then sets out with it to achieve,
that he or she suffers and still strive,
and i sit back with pride as i see how they survive
why do we not celebrate when they rise
is it because we fear?
that someone will hear our internal thoughts and tell the world,
what we hold dear,
rather lets clap and give cheers to those who believe and conquer their fears
