Stranger In A Strange Land Poem by Day Williams

Stranger In A Strange Land

I'm a stranger in a strange land
Where no one knows my name
I'm a stranger in a strange land
Here, the Lord's name I will proclaim

I will not take their lifeless ways
I shall pursue my Lord
I will not take their lifeless ways
He is my shield, He is my sword

I look and see a hurting world
The answer is the Lord
I look and see a hurting world
He's near, I'll live within His courts

The people here, they know me not
Nor do they know my Lord
The people here, they know me not
Yet I shall have my hope restored
