Strawberries Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Strawberries

Strawberries

In plastic boxes
-were offered as "On sale",
-fell for them.

Their colours shades of red
-pinkish to maroon and scarlet
-crimson yet short of radiant violet.

Size-wise, were selected
-equal, in same range.

Greatly were pampered
-each in leaf with handle.

Money waste was purchase
-the berries were tasteless.
