You know what we've done?
Replaced political ideology for humanity.
Assumed right progressive political perspectives,
Means good people?So foolish, so naïve!
Individuals display dominant behavior,
Regardless of the politics they espouse,
Cite politics for their dominance,
Aplenty within movements, families,
None invested in change;
Only interested in power - their own.
Let us not pedestalize politics over humanity.
Ideals need be based on compassion and human.
Without heart, politics is nothing.
