Stream Of Consciousness Poem by Faith Udoh

Stream Of Consciousness

Breakthrough!
Eyes of the ocean's crew,
Nuts tightened with a screw,
Fears of safety grew,
In minds coloured blue.

Breakthrough!
Jingles of sounds ever true,
There in life led by virtue,
With no synoptic menu,
And avenues to continue.

Breakthrough!
Behold the ecstatic world view,
Found in the heart of a canoe,
With no searching to do,
Pieces of colours ever new.

Breakthrough!
Tons coloured by a few,
Grasses wet with morning dew,
Countless birds on mission flew,
As entire delicacies spew.

Breakthrough!
Steaks of stew,
Lay silently in a tissue,
Leaves no paths strew,
Leaving behind no clue.

Breakthrough!
When the time is due,
In thee would I see through,
Stick to me like glue,
All happening in the litted zoo.
