Bunyip Poem by Faith Udoh

Bunyip

It alters the water level;
Cripples victims with a roar;
Hypnotizes humans to act as its slave.
Its howl is carried through the night air,
Making people afraid to enter the water.
At night,
the bunyip prowls the land,
Hunting for women and children to eat.
