Streamless Omen Poem by Michel Antoine

Streamless Omen

Streamless Omen
Michel Antoine 4/15/2012

Where do I go from here
To find your heart?
It seems so buried deep inside
I'm clueless as to where to start

A broken man whose pieces bled
For time and love seem so timeless
Unabridged by haunting memories
I lie awake at night listless.

The mist of dawn, a brand new day
Sun streamless omen plays his tune.
On my love, my oh so sullen way
I dream in daze of a warrantless past.

I see in darkness without hope
Two faces too obscured to cope
A pining needle does call my name
To come back too soon two flights.

This soaring prince has died behind my eyes,
A man I never knew.
Yet so forsaken is his love,
In salvation the promise grew.

Walking on alone in endless surrender
I stumble fall and feel the earth.
So unsure of tomorrow's smile
I'm blinded to see for what it's worth.
