Streetlights Poem by Chitra Bisht

Streetlights

Standing tall near the borough
One by one in a neatly filed row

Tender streetlights, pale and warm
A reminder of yesteryear's charm

Dispeling darkness, bringing light
Blending with the trees' canopy on side
