Streets Of Lust Poem by Lydia Martin

Streets Of Lust

Rating: 5.0

Keys of depravity chime within
Like earths eternal sin.
Painted masks of unloved dolls
Share the street with men of honour.
Black starlight shines beneath
A ray of moonstruck night.
Laughing bells of glistening jewels
Reflect the lie of one who sings.
Bedecked in satin cloth of dawn
The new day rings in the same old song.
