String Theory Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

String Theory

Rating: 2.5

The string like a musical note hums and changes.
The masterpiece could have been almost anything
Look around you, you are the symphonic solo.
The vibration is the thing and you are the music.

That is so interesting. What an inspirational poem... From nihilism to over the rainbow to string theory... And not to forget Teddy! You are on a role! !

I will have to go back to that. I LOVED that section. You could always shorted the excerpt...? I'll take a look. Thanks for explaining the Kaku reference. I didn't get that, but I've perused his popular books. I really like this poem. It has resonated with me overnight. I wanted to share it via the link with my FB friends, but PH won't let me?

Weeeeell, the Physicist Michio Kaku the originator of string theory remarks that the string is like a musical note and yes the song could have been ugly or erratic so why is it such that the notes created the world we know. The theory of everything, but who created the masterpiece? Also note I went back and removed the large portion wherein the mother is reading to her son in Over the Rainbow it was just too heavy and clumsy..........just testing the creative waters, like you!
