i believe in
myself
i believe that
i have
something to
say
i believe that
i badly need to say
what i have to say
and that you
badly need to
hear all these
before it is too
late
and so here i am
speaking before
you in the silence
of my letters
pressed by me
fingers on the
keys

and now i must
rise to speak
twitting like a bird
not a Marc
Anthony to his
beloved Caesar

and now when i
am through i must
bow before you
and then
i leave
fully emptied.
