Stronger Apart Poem by Sneha Murali

me and my family are stronger apart
the closer we stay, the more ache in our hearts
we come together, we end up having a fight
and when we're apart, we're like moths to a light

mom and dad are stronger apart
atleast there's less fights over the phone
when closer there's no stopping them
from fighting, from yelling, from threatening tones

when we're apart, we miss each other like hell
othertimes we just wanna kill each other bad
when we're apart, love exists, i can tell
the closer we are, the more we're sad

i love my family, but i wish we were apart
because more pain we cant bare in our hearts
i wish we hadn't been this way from the start
but what can i say, we're more stronger apart
