Stuck - Poem by palesa deejay manaleng

Funny how no one
Could separate us
We buried what we had
I grew up and you changed

Liquor no longer touches your lips
You have been saved
So I’m a sinner
And not worthy

Your better and I’m bitter
You look at me with disinterest
And detest what you once were
A free spirit

You are now chained by man
And his laws
The beliefs of one who bleeds

When you find yourself
I’ll be here.
