In the shadows of others, is where I live
Striving to be, like every one else, is my motive
I follow paths, that have already been crossed
My own yet to be uncovered, may forever be lost
Has to much time been spent in others foot prints
My shadow sprints
Racing to be its own
Soring into the unknown
A new beginning, a path made by me
Finding my true calling, i now hold the key
No more will i follow
No more will I stand in another's shadow
I am my own person
No longer will i be hidden
I will rise, down a path of my own
Even if that means I'll be all alone
For a life, that's truly mine
I am ready to shine
Ready for all that's heading my way
Setting off into the suns ray
Down a path, i walk to discover
Myself, finally as a leader.
