I tried so hard not to attach myself.
I'm not the type of girl to have a broken heart.
It's not usually this hard for me to say good-bye.
What is it about you that just seems to sweep me off my feet,
And I seem to go straight to heaven when I look into your eyes.

It's a wonderful feeling,
But when it's all over and the feeling doesn't leave,
It's an awful and diminishing feeling,
Unwanted,
Unloved,
Uncared for.

I wish it would die out.
Just fade away,
For as long as it needs to.
But I still have this feeling,
It's not fading away,
And I'm not sure it will very soon.

When we were together,
It was easy ti find the good in life.
But now that you're gone I can't seem to find it anymore.

Why was I foolish enough to let you get to me.
I let it go too deep.
Now I'm stuck.
