Stumbling - Poem by Johnny Golding

I think of you, and
I dream of you.
I love you with my
waking thoughts.
And then, when you
look at me.
I choke on the
words I feel.
I stumble and I
fall, letting you slip
from my grasp again.
In tear-choked sobs
that night, I dream again.
