Stymied Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Stymied

Some days nothing seems to gel
All thoughts are running into a wall
Ideas have plunged into a frozen hell
Only deaf ears listen to my call

Wonderful words are understated
Each one… systematically stalls
Overlooked and severely underrated
Toppling over the rim of a waterfall

Struggling and trying to deliver
Surfacing and wanting to share
Flowing in to the shallow river
Of ' I don’t care.’
