Sub Rosa, Veni Est Amo - Poem by Joseph David Oliver
Under the Rose, I came to Love,
Your Kiss so sweet, more than Heaven above.
You are my beautiful Venus, My Lady of the Dove,
The Fates Decree our Destinies are together,
Nothing, Not even Death can, our souls Sever!
Under the Rose I came to Love,
Your Gaze, is piercing as heaven above.
You are my Gorgeous Aphrodite, My Lady of the Dove,
The Fates Decree our Destinies are together,
and Nothing, Not even the Angel's sword can, our souls sever!
Under the Rose, I came to Love,
Your Kiss so sweet, more than Heaven above.
You are my beautiful Astarte, My Lady of the Dove,
The Fates Decree our Destinies are together,
Nothing, Not even Death can, our souls Sever!
