Successful Flowers Poem by Naveed Akram

Successful Flowers

A flower finds finesse inside itself,
A sole plant balances itself with courage,
A former gardener praises his offspring.

I am a newt of noble birth, my captains come
From afar, in the pond of my lady, who
Wishes for my energies and youth.

I am a strange bird, wronged by grounds,
Search for me in the desert, and where is
My wing or when is my beak swollen?

This day I have perfected innocence,
A primrose divinely utters the speech of sustained
Men who disembark on a voyage of the century.

My flower drops to the ground when creation
Delivers the shoots of the tree, the leaves of majestic
Branches and boughs, and vegetables eaten.

The worms of golden hues warmly offer their souls,
Forces are at work in summer and autumn,
While the winter joins the spring in harmony and melody.
