Such A Love - Poem by Gordon Jerome

All alone I wander now
Never to love again I vow
Tears fresh fallen upon my cheek
It is a quiet solitude I know seek
Lost but to one my heart shall stay
No words of love will again I say
For few in life such love will come
And such a love never felt by some
I count my blessing for what I had
And for all its memories I am glad
Now alone I suffer my only guilt
For all the tears I caused be spilt
So please never shed a tear for me
For in such a love I chanced to be.
“closing thought”
If you find a love that fills your heart
Let nothing or no one tear you apart
