Such Marvellous Beauty That She Does Create Poem by Francis Duggan

Such Marvellous Beauty That She Does Create

The more I learn of her the less of her I know I do know
And my wonder of her only does seem to grow
The one the artists and writers celebrate
Such marvellous beauty that she does create
Mother Nature, Earth Mother or call her what you may
Her beauty we see around us every day
All of her life forms including us humans she does feed
Without us she can live though her we do need
Just for our survival yet 'twould seem fair to say
That the respect we owe to her we never do pay
How can we be true to ourselves if to her we are not true
Our folly future generations may rue
She is all around us her beauty we see
The one who does feed all of humanity.
