Sugar - Poem by Nicholas Weaver
This is one of many failed attempts of a poem for my lover
As I drink,
You down in a cup,
That you’re the best addiction of my life.
Laying with you,
On a cloud,
In a reverie, in a dream.
And I realize,
Just how sweet you can be.
I can see my dream now,
Yeah, the same old cloud,
And I wonder how else could it be?
