Suicidal Vampire Part 2: Regret Poem by Alianna McThead

Suicidal Vampire Part 2: Regret

A darkened night
Stretched with its infinite beauty
That sunless sky was not her demise
But the addiction she began to hold was the faulty
Traitor
Beguiled by all that she had done
From the first lover to the never ending lust
She could stand the pain
She could endure the rain
Though the celestial water has the power to destroy her being
She never fought the burning fiend
A longing became to touch the tips of her heart
A yearning sensation did not fail to break her heart
She went through the door, sliding silently
To where his table was, waiting vacantly
Her blank eyes were full with anguish
Agony, despair wouldn't fit the selfish
Need of bringing him back
Whom had the tastiest blood
Whom had the strongest substance
His bones were the one calling
The day she saw him talking
Usually it's the blood that draws the line of attention
His bones, nonetheless, were the most delicate prescription
That had her, for centuries, search the one who has
The same bones, the same material, whom created the bass
Of her beating not heart
She felt that delectation that no one felt
She craved his bones more than anything, we humans, wrenched
But that might as well be her end
