Suicide Alibi Poem by Nicole Jaimie Carothers

Suicide Alibi

I'll hold your hand on the
bridge.
And I wont let go.
Until we both slip away,
and we fade into the unknown.

I'll keep you in my eyes.
I'll lock you deep in my
chest.
so that the water wont
seperate us,
as we close our eyes to rest.

I'll remember your laughter.
I'll remember your skin.
So even when we're far away,
I can feel you from within.

Dont be afraid,
I'll be here to protect you.
You wont feel a thing.
Take my hand, let me guide
you.

One foot at a time,
one single step
we can
go slow, if you want
and stop to rest.

Lean on my shoulder
please hold me tight
I will
not leave your side
the entire flight.
