Suicide Of The Truth Poem by Cassandra Hooper

Suicide Of The Truth

Rating: 3.0

I watch the light
Reflected in your eyes
But beneath the shining surface
Theres a darkness full of lies
And the truth is hiding
Deep inside
Secretly commiting
Suicide
As if being alive
Was too much pain
When you keep it behind the lies
Trying in vein
To hide what we know
About the whole story
And as the truth lies there
In its bloody glory
We all see through
The mask you wear
Because we're all real enough
To truely care
