Summer Poem by hibiscus flower

Summer

Waves lapping at the shore

The sun painting the sky a vibrant orange

Salt tasted on the breeze

Sand sinking beneath my feet

The call of seagulls up in the air

The scent of the ocean deep in my hair

A sailboat drifting atop the blue

Clouds in the sky, only a few

Music blasting through my ears

Summer has erased all my fears
