Summer Poem by Tess Rockenstire

Summer

Summer season has come at last
Hiking to the boondocks is a must.
To keep these muscles in shape.

Bring your family to an outing,
Light the night in your campsite
With stars above, let your face aglow.

Summer is for fun and family time
Hold your sweetheart by the hand
And dance under the starry night.

Go for a road trip
Or sit by the sandy beach
And watch the sunrise or sunset.

Relax your aching flesh
Visit the nearby saloon or spa
Treat yourself, you deserve it.

Yawn and stretch your arm,
Or lie on a hammock,
This is your stress free day.
