Summer Never Forgotten Poem by LeeAnn R. Jones

Summer Never Forgotten

This Summer
Was So Much Fun
It Cannot Be Compared
To Any Other One

It Made Me So Happy
When You Came Over Almost Everyday
The Scent Of Your Cologne
Just Never Goes Away

The Days I Did Not See You
I Missed You Very Much
And You Have No Idea
How I Longed To Feel Your Touch

I Loved Talking To You On The Phone
So That I Could Hear Your Voice
When We Were Not Able To Hang Out
This Was Our Only Choice

I Would Rather Be Together Face To Face
So I Could Stare Into Your Baby-Blue eyes
Always Getting Lost WIthin Them, Never Able To Get Myself Out
No Matter How Hard I Tried

The Only Thing That Ever Brought Me Out Of My Trance
And Also Gave Me Complete Bliss
Was Your Tender Touch
And The Sweet Taste Of Your Kiss

It sounds like you had a wonderful summer! This poem painted so many pictures for me. It was like reading a really good book. When I got to the end, I wanted more. :) Great work! Shannon
