Summer Night Poem by Sarah Reamey

Summer Night

Rating: 5.0

That summer night you did everything right,
You held me close, and told me you'd never let me out of your sight.

You told me I was your one and only,
It was then I knew, I would never be lonley.

You kissed me so sweetly and were so kind,
I was very proud to call you mine.

We would sit and talk for hours,
You always sent me beautiful flowers.

You gave me a kiss,
And told me to make a Birthday wish.

Little did you know it had already came true,
because the birthday before that I wished for you!
