Summer Rain Poem by Patrick Szwaja

Summer Rain

the blood runs thick between us

just like the hate akin with our lust

this razor wire embroidered cage

engulfs the space between like rage

a decimating eternal wall of flames

has come unto us like summer rain

thunderheads gathering on horizons edge

like adrenal insanity from leaping off your ledge.
