Summer's Pace Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Summer's Pace

Rating: 5.0

A sweet aroma fills the air,
Many warm days and warm nights,
Nocturnal bettles and screeching owls,
Campfires glowing from many sights.

A time of wandering pleasures,
Visitation to an amusement park,
Family reunions and picnics,
Fireworks illuminating the dark.

Cheerful faces and waves of excitement,
Attending carnivals that are near
hiking, swimming, traveling, and camping,
concerts for the community to hear

Going to the beach, worry free,
Sun tanned body, sweaty face,
Relaxing comfortably on the sand,
Refraining from the Summer's pace.
