Summer Sunset Poem by james watkin

Summer Sunset

Sky, who had not once forsook
Earth, wealth of gold cheer lends
One last treasure-bursting look
Kindly old patron's, sends.

Spared til now. And like all such
Farewell recipients
Never unloved as unforgot
Are made to feel 'two cents'.
