Sun Chariot Poem by Jose' Antonio Orellana Artolozaga

Sun Chariot

Rating: 5.0

Sun chariot—
Let free your winged splay
Amid the white sands of Ossetia.
O’ lord majestic
Bare the rippling sinew of
Your stately gate burst
Born of the churning sea where
Lightening bolts spume your gallop.
Great Pegasus, spurring of
Poseidon’s inducement
Made from the breaking waves of
The milky ocean,
Precious chariot of the sun
Carry Surya beyond Vishnu winds
And make clear heavens’
Regal stratum, your purest lotus-white
