Sundogs Poem by Mason Maestro

Sundogs

The Boreal forest
The grass roots and green shoots
The tundra beneath a permafrost mass
Placate the sundogs, you're the one
In demand
Vacate the sundogs, you're the one to disband

Subarctic freeze
Inside the circumpolar belt
Yukon to Labrador and the Beaufort coast
Coniferous stretch, you're the one with command
A national treasure, biosphere habitat unmanned
