Sunlight From Moon Poem by varshiiii i

Sunlight From Moon

Oh Endymion! The king of Elis, the companion of moon
motionless as a corpse, dreaming in his eternal sleep
he lays in solitude in the immortal cave
drowning in futile elixir of youth.

with skin of silver, she illuminates the sky
watching the malady of his melancholy sleep
his only solace, Selene, the goddess of moon

enchanted by his eternal charm,
every night from heaven she descends
and her eyes devour his immaculate face
with a heart full of adoration and a crescent on her head

never a night has she left him alone
in the darkness of deadly Latmian cave.
