Sunrise Poem by Mike Sudak

Sunrise

Rays of light burst from the tranquil cool night.
Breaking free from their chamber, they shoot to the ground,
Playfully dancing, making clearer all sight.
Where the sky and earth touch is where they're found.
Drawn back from the light that breaks with the dawn.
A day has arisen, the star is the proof.
Becoming full circle, its mission is clear,
As it leaps into the air and hangs there aloof.
The light folds gently into my eyes,
As it slowly creeps over the windowsill.
A god-given gesture of the time to rise,
I stand and watch the world waking still...

Great call to awaken Mike. The Sunrise has come and the mission is indeed clear: Check out Sunrise On The Mount. Cheers, Dan
