Sunrise Plans Poem by Damon Harper

We arranged the next time to continue on from there
That place where we walked to and got so very near
But only the we that night did fail to go
For our minds, our spirits that night did flow
Felt a small kiss that a night, we both did crave
Came crashing with her in my arms like a wave
Embraced in the cold night together we embraced
Till we stopped just short of the walk we did say
We’d started from that place we finished that date
And great the sun on our next day
