Sunset Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Sunset

Sunset

The amber glow spreads wide, the day's last kiss,
A tapestry of hues, warm and divine.
The sunset whispers of the night's near bliss,
In colors that through heaven's canvas shine.

Each ray a painter's stroke of purest gold,
A masterpiece that fades into the night.
The evening's beauty gracefully unfolds,
A tranquil scene before the moon's soft light.

The dusk, it sings a slowly dimming tune,
As shadows dance beneath the fading light.
The world, it sighs beneath the crescent moon,
Embracing gently the approaching night.

In sunset's glow, we find a sweet respite,
A moment's peace before the fall of night.
