Sunshine Poem by Andjela Antic

Sunshine

You are so beautiful
But you burn my eyes
On sunny days you give me warmth
On others the love dies
Your voice is very sweet
But when you talk to me
You crush me like big waves of Atlantic sea
You have such soft and gentle hands
Yet when you touch me it leaves a scar
Like knives sliding across my skin
But to have you is like a taste of a sweet sin
You are very fierceful
And that look in your eyes is spiteful
Your hair is fireful
To be one with you is desirable
But then all left behind is pain
From the moment I let you in
You scramble me like rose is your hand
Leave me alone and win
I'm just a toy
Who when you use me or play with, you enjoy
And each beam of light from you
Burns me like sunshine
Beautiful to look at afar
But to be near or beside
It's very much suicide
