Sunshine Poem by Thomas Spencer

Sunshine

undeniably,
like a flame lit inside,
you burn a hole within me.
you are my dreams,
my nightmares, are but only dreams without thee
the flame so steady,
dimming only as time lapses
but only a kiss
and the flame anew will arise
from the ashes your eyes mesmorize me
i fall inside, weak and free
wandering helplessly in the tears
upon your cheek
I not truely blind
but forever blind would I be,
to be blasted by you truely happy
cheer and joy filling the light
go to sleep my angel
when you wake
the light from thee
all so bright, will shine and wake me
