Sunshine Stories In The Bible. Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Sunshine Stories In The Bible.

The sun stood still, a mighty deed,
For Joshua's fight, in time of need.
A long, long day, the battle won,
God's power shown, beneath the sun.

Hezekiah, sick and weak,
A sign he asked, a gift to seek.
The sundial's shadow, backward crept,
A promise kept, while others slept.

God is our sun, a shining light,
A shield protecting, day and night.
Psalm sings true, a joyful sound,
Blessings abound, on holy ground.

Jesus, the light, for all to see,
To banish dark, and set us free.
He shines so bright, a guiding star,
Leading us home, from near and far.

God's hand in sun, in light, in shade,
His love displayed, never to fade.
Protection strong, and power untold,
In stories old, and truths of gold.
