Superstar (Words Of An Old Friend) Poem by Sir T.A.E.P.S

Superstar (Words Of An Old Friend)

You keep running from the truth, you know it's true
You must think I am crazy for loving you
I wish you could see the man I see,
When I look at your pictures or dream about you

I think you are the best gift I’ve ever had
Though I wish you could understand, without you I crumble

I never believed in the saying 'opposites attract',
But the second I met you it became a proven fact
I am probably cold as ice, while you're hot as fire
It’s true as long as I live you're my one and only desire

You're not just my want but also my need
You're like my personal dose of vicodin
For you I plead
For you I bleed
Heck for you I’m like on weed

I am the happiest person whenever we talk
But the second you walk, my heart goes into shock
When I fell in love my heart was on fire
Superstar, to be with you was and is my only desire

So if you love me I’ll give you everything you need
Even if you don’t I will still be your biggest fan.
I will love you from the curtains of life,
Just as long as I’m loving you,
I will be fulfilled and satisfied
Superstar, I promise you a lifetime of promises
I promise you a world full of dreams.

Only my heart knows what it means
And I promise you it won’t be wrong
One love, two hearts we will make it strong,
But now my love is lost in your bliss
Baby, you’re the one who does this
Forget about ’Swiss’ and 'Chris'
You’re the one I miss
