Supposed To Be Poem by Lacie Wasserman

Supposed To Be

Your not who I thought you were. Turned around and hit me to the floor. You just walked out the door when I needed you most. This wasn't how we were supposed to be. Not what we were ment for. So much anger. Too much to let things settle. Both of us belittle. Not only eachother. But ourselves. I need help. This wasn't how things were supposed to be. Not how it was supposed to turn out. Both yell and shout. Neither gets a word in. More than just a kindled flame. This is such a shame. Heat rises. More heat just takes it's place. If only I could see your face one last time. If only it could be all mine. We weren't ment to yell and fight. We lost sight of what Truely mattered. This wasn't how we were supposed to be. Not what we were ment for.
