Surrender Poem by Naomi Waters

Surrender

Rating: 5.0

Let us take over
Fighting is a waste of time
It only zaps your strength
So why continue
With something that's getting you no where
We WANT in
You cant keep us out forever
We're knocking on your death
There isn't a lock in the world that can keep us out
Don't even think you have the power to do this alone
Since all your companions left
You are defenseless
The lone soldier protecting a desolate castle
Continuing to fight a long forgotten war
Well then, it's time for some fun
The enemy is waiting at the gate
There is No way you can win
Raise your flag
Give us an answer to our battle cry
It won't matter
Now let's go storm the stronghold

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Okay on the line where it says we are knocking on your death imagine it says door instead. Don't know why I typed death instead of door

I told you I loved the strength in your voice. A powerful piece, here too, of a literary herald. 10+++

You are right. Fighting is waste of time. Doing surrender is wise ever. In such case storm fly over by head and goes far. You have brilliant idea. Love turns enemy into own brother...10

Because you understand what I write so well I am inspired to continue to write, I was getting to the point of giving up and never writing another poem again but I will try my best to find my inspiration again.
