Surrendering To Love Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Surrendering To Love

In the style of
Thomas Hardy:
He to She:

Heavenly kisses I adore
Knowing not such love before,
Happiness enters a secret door
With never-ending love.

What am I to do?
Every hour my mind's on you.
Darkness turns a fairer hue
With everlasting love.

Thrills come on the waves of May
And in quietude I pray
To share the magic day by day
With sweet enduring love.

My urgency is not denied
I must be there at your side
Gathering roses for you, my Bride
Surrendering To Love.
